Every once in a while a band comes along that changes the way we look at music....introducing Pacific Avenue. In a world filled with music clones, Pacific Avenue are a welcome return to pure unadulterated pop with a twist. You would think from their name that the boys were born and bred in California....in-fact Alan, John and Russell hail from Glasgow. They have shared a passion for pop music since their days as toddlers, and their love for music has given them the unique bond that so many manufactured bands crave to achieve.
Quite simply Pacific Avenue are a music revolution in the making. The Scots trio are unlike anything else on the music scene, to pigeonhole them is to stifle their true potential.
Championing this new pop/rock revolution is Scottish based songwriter/producer Greg Friel who was so impressed with the boys efforts that he gave them the chance to record a full album of his songs. Currently the guys are busy lining up a series of live shows to help launch them onto the worldwide music scene.
With classic-sounding vocal harmonies and arrangements, the guitar-driven pop-rock tracks are undoubtedly well produced and appeal to a much wider audience than conventional "Boybands".
Along the way, Pacific Avenue have created quite a buzz for themselves as the national media scramble to hail the "next big thing". With all this interest in the band its only a matter of time before they take the crown. |
